Paprkash with potatoes and Hungarian dumplings (Nokedli)

It is an easy dish to prepare offering a unique taste.


Ingredients: 1 kg potatoes, smoked sausages to your taste or 5 – 8 pieces of hot dogs, two red onions, a little oil, salt, pepper, red paprika, basil, possibly cheese; for the nokedli you need three eggs, salt and flour.

Preparation: the finely chopped onion is fried in lard, sprinkle a little red paprika then add the cleaned, washed and diced potatoes. Meanwhile, gently sprinkle salt then add some water and boil it. In the second stage we have to roast the hot dogs or the sausages in a little oil and when they are done we put them on a plate.

In the third stage, we prepare the nokedli, we boil, strain and rinse them with cold water. The last step is to add a little salt and keep the food on the stove until the flavours blend.

When serving we sprinkle some basil or chopped cheese.
